Hospital Visits

Most children are taken to the hospital for various emergencies. Parents don't want to wait for their little sick or injured children. Here are a few short stories regarding me:

1. Around the age of two I ingested a nearly full bottle of Pine Sol as my dear mother scrubbed the floors. Who knew that it would only take mere seconds to chug the whole bottle?

2. Also at the age of 2 I decided to eat an entire box of ExLax tablets. Another trip to the ER to get my stomach pumped. Yummy.

3. Man, the age of 2 was just not my year. I found a nail polish pen (probably the same one Lindsay used to paint the couch and tv with) and decided to paint my eyelids. That however was not a good idea.

4. Before we moved to Indiana from California, we visited Disneyland for a nice family vacation. Not 5 seconds after we arrived at our hotel, I tripped and hit my forehead on the nightstand. A trip to the ER for stitches was the first big event for the vacation!

5. When I was in 3rd or 4th grade I decided to play softball with a friend from down the street. We were playing it safe using one of the squishy softballs I practice pitching with. Well, we decided that we were now pros and thought that a real softball would be fine. Dana tossed it up and hit it smack into my forehead! After hitting my head, it landed in my glove! There was blood on it so we ran to get dad who was mowing. He hopped the fence and took me to the hospital for more stitches on my head.

Moral of the story: Don't trust your children to do anything!
