Ellis Park

We took a little trip to Ellis Park this evening...which is in Danville. As kids, my mom took us there often and it is still a pretty neat park. Clint had never been there so we will have to go back and check out the trails. I took my camera along and tried out some of the features because I have had this camera for about two years and haven't really taken the time to figure it out yet. One of the many blogs I follow had some pointers to improve your photos with a few different features so I thought I would try a few. I have a Nikon J1 which isn't quite a DSLR but has more features than a traditional point and shoot camera.

Since we went after dinner there weren't very many people there and it was really nice having more to space to play!

13 Months Old

Parker loves babbling! He has discovered a few new sounds and loves repeating them! He can say dog, woof, sometimes cat, moo, that, mama, and dada. He loves pointing at practically everything! He is extremely curious and also very mischievous. He loves climbing and going up and down things (like the stairs to the garage or onto the porch). He can feed himself with a spoon now! It's a little messy but he's doing pretty good! We video chatted with my mom and stepdad last week and he definitely knew that we were all talking and pointed and interacted with them more than he ever has.

He loves unrolling the toilet paper, stealing my computer mouse, typing, teasing the dog when she's at the door to come in, fruit, double fisting his water and milk at dinner, trying to put his shoes on, running & being chased, and giggling.

We went to a small family wedding this weekend and he loved the bubbles and the balloons!

He did not want to put the decorations back!

He likes eating yogurt.

Feed meeee!

We went to a few garage sales on Saturday...he stayed in his pj's.

He's been practicing either yoga or somersaults.

I can't wait til school's out so I can hang out with my little man everyday!

We love spring!

The weather is warming up which means that the end of school is near for me! I can't wait for summer so my little man and I can spend more time together! Clint has been off a lot lately because his work is slow so he has had a little extra time hanging out with P-man. He took him to the Children's Museum with Mike and Griffin last week. He said that he hung back at first just watching everyone and everything but after lunch he jumped right in and was Mr. Busybody!

We had a garage sale last weekend and Parker was a good salesman! We made some good money and he had a lot of fun playing and watching people!

Grandpa Reed came over for a bit and pushed him around in his truck...he came back passed out!

Helping clean up our sale.

Little guy must be getting a new tooth because last Wednesday night he did not want to sleep...so he watched Survivor with mom in bed.

Having fun playing at Jennifer's...don't mind his shoes ;) His shoes were in the bedroom where Ady was napping!

eating spaghetti like his momma

Parker and Griffin enjoying the carousel.

He loves these stacking toys!

Apparently this was his favorite thing at the museum! He played in the water for at least a half an hour!

Banging and making loud noises? Right up his alley!

Hiding in the dinosphere!

They loved the dinos!

He loves all kinds of rocking horses!

He also loves his momma :)

He fell at the garage sale and had a fat lip for a while.

cutie pie

Lucy likes to jump in his crib when he's playing before bedtime

Parker is so curious and loves copying everything we do. He is getting so big!
