There is a website called Teachers Pay Teachers, and this website is for teachers to post items they create which are then available for free or purchase. Because textbooks don't always match standards or fit to what or how you like to teach, many teachers create their own supplements, worksheets, videos, etc. I have created many of my own things just because I am picky and want things a certain way. I also like to experiment with photoshop and different fonts. So I decided to put a few things up for sale! Most items on this website are fairly cheap, like $1 or $2 but some of the big units are more. We'll see how it goes! Check out my shop here :)
5/6 Edit: Already sold $8 worth!

Very cool (congratulations on already selling stuff!) It makes a lot of sense to not just give all that hard work away - I'm going to show my students that site tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteVery cool site & awesome job on some sales! You might get some "groupies" or something -- put up more and rake in the $$!
ReplyDeleteI saw that they also had higher ed stuff, but most of what's marked as "higher ed" is also marked K-12. Some people need to get a grip. I wish there was a bigger market for college-level stuff. I have tons of cool things I could post! Maybe I'll try anyway...I have some stuff for human sexuality that could be used in high schools (the PG stuff).
never thought about using it for higher ed! I'm definitely gonna get on it! Some nice extra spending money...maybe for sister vacations?!
ReplyDeleteThat's exactly what I was thinking! We'll educate our ways around the world!
