Mini & Me Weekend

Clint left for Michigan Friday morning to spend the weekend with his friends at a race so Parker and I had the weekend to ourselves!

Friday I picked him up from Grandma & Grandpa Reed's and we played with Zoe and relaxed. He woke up around 10:30 and wouldn't go back to sleep so we snuggled in bed together! He must not have wanted mommy to sleep alone :)

Saturday we met Hilary around 10 and headed to the Children's Museum! We played for a couple hours and then had lunch. He was so excited to dip his food in ketchup! Then we went and played for a couple more hours! He had so much fun!

He passed out as soon as he got in the car and then stayed asleep once we got home. I was a little tired so I laid down with him on the couch and took a short nap. He however kept sleeping! He took a 2.5 hour nap! and let me remind you that he only takes two thirty minute naps a day normally!

After he was refreshed (and Hilary too) he had a snack (which Zoe got half of) and then we walked around the neighborhood picking the old dandelions and blowing them, picking up rocks and sticks, and laying in the grass. Then we went to El Meson for dinner! He loves the beans and rice! He also enjoys eating chips and salsa now that he knows how to dip them!

He decided to be a major maniac and acted crazy the whole time we were there....note to self: never take him out after a two and a half hour nap!

Scotty and Hilary read him bunches of books before bedtime.

Sunday morning we woke up and went to Panera for breakfast. We go to Panera on Sunday mornings almost every week. He almost always behaves perfectly. Well, someone decided they were still going to be a maniac! He sat in his high chair for about 5 minutes. Then he kept standing up because the seat belts never can hold him in! So I held him...then put him in a chair...then held him...then he finally wiggled away and stared out the window at the cars on Rockville Rd. Finally I packed us up because wild man was too much for me! Then we went to the grocery store for a few things and he was much better behaved :)

Later today we went to Hummel Park because the weather finally cleared somewhat! He wasn't really feeling the playground but he was super excited to use his new scoop and bucket at the creek! He filled his bucket with water and rocks, threw a bajillion rocks, and splashed both of us. We stopped by the splash pad for a few and then made our way to the car after picking up every leaf we could find.

(don't mind the naked baby booty)

On the way home we stopped for ice cream! Once we got home Parker had to feed Zoe (because he is obsessed with feeding her!). Clint got home about 6 and by then Parker was pretty wore out! We had dinner and he had a bath and was out! Too much fun this weekend!

16 Months

Mr. P-Man is going to be 16 months old this weekend! He is growing so fast but I love every minute of it! He is saying more words all the time and he is finally responding somewhat to questions. We definitely hear or see no the most because he knows how mischievous he can be ;)
