I will be so glad when winter is over so I can start getting some better pictures! There is no light in the house after work!

Likes: taking his socks off, getting surprised, pretty much all food, tickles

Dislikes: wearing socks

What's New in the Last Week: he starting shaking his head back and forth the other night, splashing in the tub tonight, eating spaghetti and squash (loved them both)

Loves pretty much all food now!

I meant to just let him get a tiny little lick of ice cream but he decided to grab the whole thing!

I hope this isn't the start of saying no all the time!

We love to chitchat before bedtime.

31 Weeks

As Parker gets older every week he gets more wiggly! It has become a little harder to take a picture each week because he just wants to roll around...so blurry picture it is tonight!

Likes: smiling at daddy, playing peek-a-boo, bananas, chicken noodles, being swung & tossed around

Dislikes: wearing socks, when he first he gets home he doesn't like for momma to be out of his sight

What's New in the Last Week: he has finally started to get up on his knees and do a little bit of rocking and he can even scoot backwards a little

Driving mommy's car!

He loves taking off his socks!

worn out from all that driving

stuck in the pillows!!

about time to put the swing away...seatbelt is a little snug!

trying to call his friends

I love chicken noodles!

After each bite he would turn and look up at Clint...it was too cute!

I spy a little blue eye!

6 Month Photos

Since we didn't get professional newborn photos of Parker I really wanted to get some pictures of him while he was still small. So we I decided to get them done for his 6 month birthday. We also had a few family shots done as well. We used Corina Myers and we were really happy with her! (You can find her on Facebook.) She sent us a CD with all of the images but her computer ended up getting a virus which caused the CD to not download correctly so we will be getting a new CD this week. I know we had a few poses I am curious to see before I send my order off to be printed! I can't wait to finally get some pictures up of Parker!

I'm really happy with how our pictures turned out especially considering how windy and cold it was that day! We will definitely be using Corina for Parker's 1 year pictures :)

7 Months Old

Big Milestones: Parker can roll all over the place now! He can roll both directions easily and definitely uses rolling as a means to get somewhere. He can turn himself really well while holding himself up on his hands and the last few days he was moved himself backwards. So no forward movements yet but I think he will be doing that soon!

He is definitely an independent sitter now and usually only falls down if he is reaching for something really far away or if Zoe nudges him. He is getting better at reaching for things and holding himself up as he starts to topple over.

Right after he turned 6 months he looked at Clint one morning at breakfast and said dada! It was so cute :)

We started feeding Parker solids right after he turned 6 months and it took almost three weeks before he actually started eating them. He was not interested in food at the beginning so we had Jennifer (our babysitter) try feeding him and after a few days he started letting her feed him! He seems to really like pears, avocado, sweet potatoes, bananas, and applesauce. We have also fed him oatmeal which he sometimes seems to enjoy especially when I mixed in bananas. I mixed blueberries in today and he didn't seem too thrilled. I am really enjoying trying all these foods with him and planning what to try next!

Measurements: About a week after he turned 6 months he weighed 16 pounds 13 ounces and was 27 inches long. I don't think he has grown much more since then but I think he may have gained a little weight since then. He is still wearing 6-9 month clothes except most of the pants he has in that size are too big and way too long. Luckily I kept some 3-6 month pants out.

Daily Schedule: He still naps and eats about every three hours if it's a regular day. However he has really started to boycott naps; especially when he goes to Jennifer's. For some reason he has not liked naps the last couple of months. He has adjusted pretty well to me going back to work and going to daycare.

Check the blog out tomorrow for some of his 6 months pictures (that I never got around to sharing!).

Now enjoy a couple fun shots from today:

30 Weeks

What a week! Parker started the week out being sick with a really runny nose which then turned into a cough. I also have had parent conferences after school all week so we are a little behind in the blog department! I know his fans are waiting ;) On the plus side Clint has gotten in quite a bit of daddy time!

Likes: he has finally war,ed up to the whole food idea, snuggling, tickles, waving his toys around, banging his brush on the wall when getting his diaper changed

Dislikes: being sick

What's New in the Last Week: he has eaten oatmeal, pears, and applesauce in addition to sweet potatoes bananas and avocado. I also have given him steamed carrots and he gnawed on those for a while but I don't think they were soft enough to get any bits off.
